World Cup–engineered rotor protection for enduro and trail riding
Purpose-designed for modern enduro and trail forks, this rotor guard was developed and race-proven with the Santa Cruz Syndicate at Downhill World Cup level, validated in cold, wet, and high-contamination conditions.
Originally built as a race solution, it’s now available for trail, enduro, and eMTB riders who want consistent braking when conditions deteriorate.
This is not a cosmetic add-on. It’s a functional performance component designed to protect the braking system, stabilise operating temperatures, and reduce contamination at the rotor, pads and calliper.
Independently featured and tested by GMBN, BikeRadar and VoxelMatters.
Engineering approach
Each guard is fork-specific and modelled directly from precision 3D scans of the actual fork casting. No generic sizing. Proper alignment, verified caliper clearance, and full wheel-change access.
Guards are produced in small batches using engineering-grade carbon-fibre-reinforced filament under controlled drying and temperature conditions. This delivers higher strength, better dimensional accuracy, improved surface finish, and long-term stability.
Over 12 hours of production goes into every unit. Printed, finished, and inspected by hand.
Performance
- Helps maintain braking consistency in rain, mud, grit, and freezing temperatures
- Integrated calliper coverage retains heat while shielding pads and pistons from contamination
- Dual-sided upper rotor coverage reduces debris ingress while stabilising rotor temperature
- Front wheel removal without disturbing the guard
- Fork-specific fit derived from direct 3D scanning
- Engineering grade carbon fibre reinforced polymer construction for strength and dimensional control
- Small batch manufacturing with manual finish and inspection
- Conventional forks ~160g
- Fox Podium ~180g
Why it exists
Brake inconsistency affects confidence and limits how hard you’re willing to ride.
This guard was developed to reduce that.
Refined through World Cup racing and adapted for everyday use, it provides measurable improvements in braking consistency in wet, cold, and contaminated conditions.
It’s an engineering solution to a real problem. Not a cosmetic accessory.
